Got the bike started

So chuffed with myself, got it started, A little petrol down the spark plug chamber, had to do it 3 times but shes purring like a tiger again . Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Could of just sprayed Petrol into the Air box and drained the carb Very Happy

No, because then she wouldnt have known if it was a blocked carb stopping it because its still using the carb, where as putting some down the spark plug hole allows you to see if its a carb problem or not

Was there a problem with the bike thats why your chufed its started? I thought she hadnt started it for a few weeks

It wouldnt start, so there could of been a problem, hence why i said doing that wouldnt tell you if the carb was blocked or not

Yeah didnt use her over christmas because of the snow, she wouldnt start, tried charging her, changing the spark plug, had petrol tank off to give the carb a bang, none of it worked until this, Chufffed that I didnt have to leave her to the mechanic to get her started and chuffed I have learnt another new trick . Very Happy

Theres a 10mm bolt and the Carb and the petrol just comes out that was in the carb, put the bolt back and and spray some petrol into the airbox using a airfreshner bottle or somit
