Tinting your rear lights (for Will)

What you will need to start with...

1 coat...

2 coats...

4 coats... (note I missed out 3 Mad

)

Dried (matt finish)

Weren't dark enough for me so I put a couple more coats on them.

Go over them with T-Cut.

After laquer #2...

Then leave them to harden for a few days then flat it back.

On the car...

Shit pics, I need a decent camera.

Ensure you work in a dust free area (that was very hard for me considering the building conditions atm).
Light coats only (build it up) 15 mins between each coat I did.
Mask up the reflector or MOT fail and police moan.

ANOTHER POINT!

MAKE SURE YOU WASH THE MASKING TAPE RESIDUE OFF REALLY WELL, i DIDN'T ON ONE, IT REACTED WITH THE LAQUER AND FUCKED UP....NEW LIGHT FROM EBAY.

Do it with a sponge then dry it Wink

I'd go for savage spray if I was to do it again mate, its £8 for 400ml. Where as the stuff I used was £8 for 150ml.

You have to take them out to do it Wink

Best to do them while they're its off mate. Spend the whole day doing it for a good job. The lights are easy to take out. Just 3 8mm's IIRC.

Dan, have rid of that rear wiper mate, will look way better imo. It's won't be an MOT fail either as the rear wiper dosn't even come into it....

Hes got a ford KA wiper on the way

Its also less angled so sits at the bottom of the screen so alot less noticeable,
